Identify and escalate commercial risks and issues to the Sector Lead – Commercial.
Maintain contract registers, commercial trackers, and documentation.
Manage and monitor contract securities and insurances, provide effective and timely change control / variation, delay, EOT and claim notifications to resolution under head contracts.
Support delivery of financial and contractual information to internal and external stakeholders.
Support Project Managers in the development and updating of project forecasts, revenue and cost re-estimates in compliance with Ventia’s procedures.
Identification, implementation and maintenance of project control structures, contracting strategies, execution plans and Ventia procedures.
Administer upstream and downstream contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
Provide project health checks and advise of any potential risks and or opportunities to project targets, including associated mitigation measures.
Support project procurement requirements including subcontractor onboarding, subcontract preparation, drafting and ensure approval process in accordance with Ventia’s governance requirements.
Ensure productivity measures (KPI’s) are regularly reported, analyse variances and implement corrective actions.
Develop and maintain key working relationships with the Ventia Site Teams and support functions, as well as Client Teams.
Support the Project Manager in assessing subcontractor payment claims and ensure payments are in accordance with contract.
Contribute to pricing models, commercial inputs and risk assessments for new tenders.

You will be an experienced Commercial Manager ideally within the Energy and Renewables industry working on capital projects.
Proficient in financial analysis, cost control, and reporting.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and experience with SAP, Ariba and Power BI desirable.
Strong understanding of contract law, commercial principles, and risk management.
Proven interpersonal and relationship skills within complex and demanding environments.
Degree in Business, Commerce, Law, Engineering or related field.
Ability to understand, draft and negotiate contracts.
