Work in a cooperative and courteous manner with the public, contractors, supervisors, and other department staff.
Respond to phone calls and emails promptly and professionally.
Maintain documentation of training hours and certifications as required.
Complete/submit field reports accurately.
Track and submit timecard and expense daily.
Collect representative samples of construction materials for laboratory and field testing.
Uphold a professional image for yourself and represent Atlas property standards at all times.
Complete daily timecards and expense reports at the end of each shift.
Obtain and maintain required certifications for construction materials testing and inspection in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
Perform field inspections and testing on materials such as rebar, epoxy, concrete, masonry, asphalt, and other construction components.
Accurately track time, materials, and supplies used on assigned projects.
Assist in laboratory testing and analysis of construction materials as needed.
Ensure all required safety documentation and reporting are completed in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Prepare clear, accurate, and complete reports for all inspections and tests, ensuring submission prior to leaving the job site.
Review project plans and specifications to understand testing requirements and compliance standards.
Support workload demands in Pocatello, Idaho Falls, and surrounding areas as directed.

General understanding of construction.
1-year of experience in one or more phases of construction.
High School diploma/GED 2. Read and follow procedures.
Able to return phone calls and emails within a reasonable time frame.
A valid driving license, with a clean driving record, proof of insurance.
Candidate will be required to pursue relevant certifications such as ACI, ICC, and WAQTC Testing Technician, etc.
Must have a professional work ethic, willingness to learn, and attention to detail.
Able to work (when needed) on weekends, out of town, early morning, or late evening hours.
The ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, and random tests after hire.
Basic mathematic and writing skill.
Must be able to communicate both verbally and in writing.
General computer skills such as: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
Able to learn and pass exams for Certification (ACI, WAQTC, and ICC).
Must be able to lift 50 lbs., stand for extended periods of time, and work outdoors.
OSHA 10 certification.
