The EHS Coordinator will lead Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) programs across our High Point, NC manufacturing operations. This role ensures OSHA, EPA, and company compliance while promoting a proactive, safety-first culture across all production and field teams.

  • Manage documentation, safety reports, and audit readiness for all EHS activities.
  • Lead employee safety training programs, including toolbox talks, onboarding, and specialized safety topics such as PPE use, fall protection, and hazard communication.
  • Oversee PPE distribution and ensure proper usage throughout the facility.
  • Conduct daily and weekly inspections of manufacturing areas to identify hazards and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Review recent safety observations or near-miss reports and plan follow-up actions.
  • Partner with manufacturing leadership to drive continuous improvement in safety performance.
  • Begin the morning conducting a safety walkthrough of the production floor.
  • Lead a safety training session for new hires or equipment operators.
  • Support emergency preparedness plans including fire safety, first aid, and evacuation drills.
  • Wrap up by updating safety metrics and preparing reports for leadership review.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain site-specific safety programs and procedures aligned with OSHA and EAS safety standards.
  • Facilitate toolbox talks and briefings with team leaders.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses, perform root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions.

A motivated EHS professional with hands-on experience in manufacturing or industrial environments. You’re a natural communicator who can train, motivate, and influence teams at all levels. You take pride in maintaining safe, compliant, and efficient operations while driving a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Strong knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910/1926, NFPA, RCRA, and EPA standards.
  • Familiarity with ISO 45001 and sustainability regulations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, or related field preferred.
  • First Aid and CPR/AED certification (preferred).
  • 3+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing, construction, or industrial settings.
  • OSHA 30 certification (required); OSHA 510/511, CHST, or OHST (preferred).
  • Excellent communication, training, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lead safety initiatives independently and collaboratively.
