The adviser will develop and deliver an ambitious programme of practical nature recovery projects across agricultural landscapes. This includes working closely with tenant farmers and managing agents to support sustainable, regenerative food production and ensuring the Estate meets its statutory duties, such as protecting sites and contributing to national targets like the Environment Act Habitat Targets and the ‘30 by 30’ goal. Progress will be measured and outcomes showcased.
The role requires experience in farmland conservation and deep knowledge of farmland ecology, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects in a high‑performance environment. Candidates should bring enthusiasm, expertise, and a commitment to making a difference.
