Operations Assistant (Remote)

Description

• Perform routine data quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
• Respond to internal team inquiries related to project records, labor data, or document requirements.
• Maintain structured digital file systems, ensuring proper organization and retention of project records.
• Monitor updates to internal processes and ensure data systems reflect current requirements.
• Coordinate with payroll, HR, and field operations to resolve discrepancies in submitted information.
• Assist with documentation required for project audits, workforce validation, and internal reviews.
• Organize, archive, and retrieve project, workforce, and training documentation.
• Prepare and submit standardized project documentation packages as required.
• Support the creation and updating of dashboards, spreadsheets, and tracking tools in Excel or similar platforms.
• Generate, format, and distribute weekly and monthly operational reports.
• Enter, update, and maintain data in project and workforce tracking systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Finance, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• 1+ years of experience in data management, operations support, analytics support, compliance administration, or similar fields.
• Experience with HRIS, payroll, timekeeping, or other enterprise systems is an asset.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and comfort working with complex spreadsheets and databases.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Experience working with labor or workforce documentation.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and support multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with wage-related or labor-related documentation tracking (can be learned on the job).
• Exposure to regulatory, audit, or compliance-driven environments.
