- Prepare point files, stakeout notes, and mapping calibration for solar construction projects at varying phases and locations.
- Will be responsible for collecting, organizing, storing, and reporting on survey data.
- Prepare field layout data for:
- Acquire and maintain required certifications for survey equipment, software, and compliance.
- Wear all appropriate PPE and follow safe practices as outlined by company and industry standards.
- Will work with Survey Manager and Crew Chiefs to maintain current, accurate survey data.
- Assist in machine control and performing earthwork volume calculations.
- Stay up to date with current and prospective technology that relates to advancing the CSP Survey department.

- Ability to read and interpret construction plans for generating field layout data.
- Requires travel/overnight stays.
- Strong work ethic and detail-oriented mindset.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Previous land survey and/or engineering experience required.
- Demonstrated knowledge and interest in survey and advancing technology.
- OSHA 30 certification required.
- Must be able to sit, stand, lift, bend, twist and lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work independently on multiple projects with limited supervision.
- Will be required to perform physical labor.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Outlook.

- Know typical sources of measurement errors.
- Proper usage and storage of survey equipment and company property.
