Prepare point files, stakeout notes, and mapping calibration for solar construction projects at varying phases and locations.
Will be responsible for collecting, organizing, storing, and reporting on survey data.
Prepare field layout data for:
Acquire and maintain required certifications for survey equipment, software, and compliance.
Wear all appropriate PPE and follow safe practices as outlined by company and industry standards.
Will work with Survey Manager and Crew Chiefs to maintain current, accurate survey data.
Assist in machine control and performing earthwork volume calculations.
Stay up to date with current and prospective technology that relates to advancing the CSP Survey department.

Ability to read and interpret construction plans for generating field layout data.
Requires travel/overnight stays.
Strong work ethic and detail-oriented mindset.
Valid driver’s license.
Previous land survey and/or engineering experience required.
Demonstrated knowledge and interest in survey and advancing technology.
OSHA 30 certification required.
Must be able to sit, stand, lift, bend, twist and lift 50 lbs.
Must be able to work independently on multiple projects with limited supervision.
Will be required to perform physical labor.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Outlook.
Digital Terrain Models & Contouring
Self-motivated and organized to handle multiple projects and evolving deadlines.
Know typical sources of measurement errors.
Proper usage and storage of survey equipment and company property.
Ability to work in a field environment in all kinds of weather.
