Geomechanical Engineer Internship (6 months)

Requirements

• Legally eligible to work in the UK
• A strong research mindset and excellent teamwork skills are essential
• Proficiency in programming languages including C++ and Python
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with R&D and operation teams
• Solid understanding of the theoretical principles in geomechanics and finite element modeling
• Familiarity with geophysics and petrophysics is desirable but not required
• Hands-on experience with industrial 3D geomechanical simulators such as CMG, Abaqus, and Visage
• Exposure to advanced simulation and HPC technologies in a world-class research environment.
• Final-year graduate student (preferably PhD) in a relevant engineering or science discipline, with strong foundations in mathematics, physics, and geomechanics
