Position will include visits to construction sites and industrial facilities requiring mobility (on ground and at heights) and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs/muffs, masks/respirators, safety vests, gloves and work boots.
Switch from automatic to manual controls and isolate equipment mechanically and electrically to allow for safe inspection and repair work.
Operate or tend stationary engines, boilers, and auxiliary equipment such as pumps, compressors, and air-conditioning equipment, to supply and maintain steam or heat for buildings, marine vessels, or pneumatic tools.
Troubleshoot problems with manufacturing processes by performing tests and monitoring performance of processes throughout production.
Maintain daily logs of operation, maintenance, and safety activities, including test results, instrument readings, and details of equipment malfunctions and maintenance work.
Adjust controls and/or valves on equipment to provide power, and to regulate and set operations of system or industrial processes.
Provide specific to discipline technical expertise to the degree of preparing and providing training for other personnel; both within the company and for the customer.
Evaluate equipment and processes to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
