What you would be doing

- Maintain and monitor generic stock levels in the yard, keep an account of tools and equipment are up to date.
- Participate in first aid training and act as the on-site workplace first aider and maintain knowledge as appropriate and fill in all safety forms appropriately.
- Managing the Yard Operations and maintenance of Yard and Units.
- Maintain the hire flight to a high level of readiness, carry out any fleet corrective actions as required.
- Ensure all subcontractors and employees working the yard are trained and safety instructions are followed.
- Initiate and conduct all Health and Safety QA and toolbox meetings.
- Detailing of Units and perform any maintenance if needed, receipt all incoming units and ensure hire inspection forms and any other admin duties are completed correctly.
- Ensure received goods are checked and verified for the standard of quality, quantity, signed and accounted for and that all delivery dockets are issued to ATCO administration officers.
- Ensure all out-going buildings are clean and ready for transport, Performing quality checks of units prior to loading / shipping units.

- 5+ years of relevant experience or post-secondary education in a construction environment including mechanical and electrical systems.
- Able to carry out moderate to heavy lifting duties and operate equipment such as skid steer, loader & forklift.
- Knowledge of MS Office suite.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities, work well in a changing environment, and possess a sense of urgency.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze problems, and create solutions
- Possess discipline towards meeting deadlines and strong personal time management
- Must be safety-oriented, and a good team player with excellent customer service skills.
