The Renewals Engineer supports the Renewals Manager by planning, scheduling and delivering renewal, rehabilitation and reseal projects for our contractor. The position requires strong collaboration with Journey Management, Asset Management, Quality Management, Customer Coordination and Contract Administration teams.
In this role you will work closely with the Quality Manager to meet design specifications, manage environmental consents and ensure compliance, and act as a liaison at stakeholder meetings. Field duties include measuring works, conducting audits, gathering quality data, preparing claims and notices, and handling documentation. You will also source quotes, produce clear reports and coordinate with production teams and suppliers to drive improvements.
We are looking for candidates who hold a BE, NZCE, engineering diploma or equivalent experience, with at least five years in civil construction, infrastructure or temporary traffic management. Proven leadership experience, a solid understanding of relevant standards and legislation, current safety certifications such as STMS or ConstructSafe, and a Class 1 driver’s licence are required.
