Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, and connectivity problems
Perform routine maintenance (e.g. backups, patching, hotfixes)
Maintain and support a varied server/network estate
Provide BAU and out-of-hours support to the business
Work on multiple concurrent systems and project initiatives
Support infrastructure projects through capacity planning and design
Share knowledge across teams and support project activities
Recommend and implement solutions to optimize performance
Monitor systems, resolve issues, and ensure infrastructure integrity
Install, configure, and support servers and management platforms, including VMware and Hyper-V
Document technical specifications and reports
Requirements

Excellent organisation and time management
Operational IT support experience in a multi-site, complex network environment
Methodical approach with attention to detail
Strong communication and customer relationship skills
Advanced troubleshooting across Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange and hypervisor platforms
Experience with cloud technologies, ideally Microsoft Azure and M365
Ability to interpret technical issues from non-technical descriptions
Full UK driving licence
