  • Substation Commissioning, including Site Acceptance Testing
  • Commissioning GIS Switchgear
  • Testing Primary electrical equipment, including circuit breakers, CTs, VTs, HV/LV switchboards, transformers, and HV busbars.

  • VLF, Tan Delta, partial discharge testing of HV Cables
  • Valid Driver's License (Minimum C Class)
  • High Voltage Switching certificate - Not essential
  • Proven experience with Omicron Test units
  • Relay Testing and Secondary injection Testing over a wide range of relay manufacturers/models. Preferable, not essential.
  • Ability to provide at least two contactable work-related references
  • Previous FIFO experience
  • Experience with HV motors and drives
  • Current CPR/ LVR and First Aid certificate
  • Pass a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol Test
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or an Advanced Diploma of Engineering (Advantageous)
  • White Card (Construction Card)
  • WA A Grade Electrical license (Mandatory)
  • Experience in transmission (220KV) and distribution voltages (11, 22, 33kV)
