Mold Crew Technician

Description

• Ensure good quality of product
• Inspect mold after production for wear and/or damage and advise supervisor of needed repairs
• Perform all work in a neat, clean and safe manner
• Perform daily mold maintenance checks (i.e. Condition of nozzle assemblies, Mold Clamps, Hose Connectors, etc.)
• Adjust machine settings for proper run after mold adjustments as required
• Maintain replacement part inventories for mold change components (i.e. Nozzle assemblies, hose, etc)
• Rebuild or replace worn or broken mold change components as needed

Requirements

• Must have own set of hand tools.
• Will be required startup operations and shutdown plant
• High School diploma or GED
• Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge
• Ability to be on call and work overtime as needed
• Knowledge of crane operations and rigging
• Ability to troubleshoot machine issues and repair
• Fork truck certification is required
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Must have good interpersonal skills
• Some heavy lifting required
