Requirements

Pavarini Northeast, part of the STO Building Group, is seeking experienced QA/QC Managers for its Poughkeepsie, NY site. The managers ensure client needs are met by upholding company and customer quality standards. They maintain quality assurance processes, test materials, record and analyze results, supervise inspections, calibrate equipment, and communicate findings. Additionally, they interpret project specifications to ensure compliance with documents, regulatory agencies, and health‑and‑safety guidelines.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent experience) and brings at least seven years of QA/QC experience in construction. They must understand construction engineering technology, codes, standards, and related legislation, and be able to interpret instructions in various formats. Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel, along with excellent organizational, problem‑solving, and analytical abilities, is required. The role demands proactive communication with internal and external customers and the ability to work effectively at all management levels.

• Hold a degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
• Possess at least 7 years of quality assurance and control experience.
• Knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes, standards, and interdependence of functional units.

Benefits

The position offers a salary range of $165,000 to $200,000, with eligibility for a discretionary performance‑based bonus.
