Perform site inspections for work engineered by our office
Serve as the lead designer on simple to moderately complex assignments
Complete and review design calculations; assist in the preparation of drawings and specifications
Provide responses and solutions to issues during the construction administration phase of projects
Coordinate work product with other in-house engineering staff and architects
Perform structural engineering analysis and design for bridge and transportation-related structures
Assist in site investigations to document existing conditions, including bridge inspection

Primary duties will be related bridge structural design and inspection, but seeking versatile engineer with broad structural engineering interests

Bachelor of Science in Structural or Civil Engineering
Prior experience with NYCDOT, NYSDOT, NJDOT standards is a plus
Experience in using various structural analysis software
NY PE required, NJ PE is a plus
Bridge inspection experience and certification is a plus
The selected candidate must be authorized to work in the United States; Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
AutoCad experience a requirement, Revit is a plus
Benefits
Compensation: Minimum: $125,000; Maximum: $150,000. The range provided is the salary that the Firm in good faith believes at the time of this posting is willing to pay. Exact compensation will be determined on the individual candidate’s qualifications and location.
