As a Planned Works Supervisor you will play a key role in delivering planned and construction activities across the Whangārei water networks. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will lead field crews to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard while meeting client expectations and contractual targets. The role involves planning, organising and supervising day‑to‑day operations, coordinating people, plant and subcontractors, and maintaining accurate field reporting and documentation. Occasionally you may also assist with unplanned or reactive works as operational demands require. This is a fixed‑term position.
You are an experienced supervisor with a strong background in water reticulation and a hands‑on leadership style. You take pride in delivering quality outcomes, supporting your teams and maintaining a safe and professional work environment. You hold a National Certificate in Water Reticulation Level 4 (or equivalent experience) and a full Class 1 driver’s licence, with additional training such as Class 2, RTW, traffic management or confined spaces considered an advantage. Your proven experience supervising water‑reticulation crews is complemented by strong planning, organisational and problem‑solving abilities, as well as proficiency with mobile field devices and documentation systems.
