Regular collaboration with other transportation design professionals and teams to complete projects
Execute the structural engineering portion of various highway, transit, and rail projects through all phases from proposal preparation, project kickoff, preliminary design, detailed design, tendering, construction, and contract administration
Prepare, check and deliver engineering calculations, reports and technical studies
Undertake culvert and bridge inspections to assess condition
Assist with development of design plans, technical specifications, and construction cost estimates

Familiarity with MTO design requirements and specifications is an asset
Basic knowledge of the Canadian Highway Bridge Design Code and MTO design manuals and standards
Experience with structural modeling and design software, such as CSiBridge or equivalent
Registered or working toward EngineerinTraining (E.I.T.)
Strong understanding of structural engineering design concepts
0 – 4 years of related work experience. Previous bridgerelated work experience is an asset.
Working knowledge of CAD software and collaborative tools such as Autodesk or BlueBeam
Experience in structural inspection, condition surveys, and construction supervision is an asset
University degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in the field of structural design.
