The employee will identify required tools and safety risks, assist in pouring, finishing, and smoothing concrete structures, dismantle forms, perform miscellaneous construction tasks, and maintain clean work areas.

The role requires at least two years of experience with industrial concrete and the ability to meet all physical and safety requirements, including having the necessary tools and reliable transportation.
Candidates must demonstrate journeyman‑level knowledge of mixing, pouring, and finishing concrete, understand basic building techniques and form construction, be able to work full schedules with overtime, and adhere to all company and site safety and procedural rules.
Preferred candidates include current or former Zachry employees, those with formal technical education, and individuals experienced with carpentry, concrete, and rebar work.
The position reports to no direct reports and requires extensive standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 lb, and work at heights with appropriate fall protection, in all weather conditions while wearing required PPE.
- 2+ years experience with industrial concrete.
- Have required tools and reliable transportation.
- Journeyman‑level knowledge of selecting, mixing, pouring, and finishing concrete.
- Knowledge of materials, tools, and processes for basic building and form construction.
- Able to work full schedule with overtime as needed.
- Current Zachry or Zachry ROF’ed employee (preferred).
- Former experience with Zachry Industrial, Inc. (preferred).
- Formal or technical education (preferred).
- Experience with carpentry, concrete, and rebar (preferred).
- Stand, walk, bend, squat, sit, and lift frequently.
- Communicate verbally and audibly on site.
- Lift, carry, and move up to 50 lb.
- Operate in all weather conditions while wearing PPE.
- Wear required PPE: hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, respirator, hi‑vis vest, gloves, steel‑toed boots.
