The SCADA Systems Specialist (Level 4) is responsible for leading all SCADA activities on wind, solar and battery‑energy‑storage sites and for maintaining the company’s SCADA system used to monitor, protect and control the electric grid.
Key responsibilities include coordinating telecom and SCADA solutions for projects, leading weekly SCADA meetings, reviewing all SCADA documentation, providing on‑site and remote support during construction, overseeing functional and compliance testing, ensuring NERC and ISO requirements are met, managing external engineering resources, guaranteeing documentation conforms to EDF standards, mentoring SCADA staff, designing SCADA components for substations, and providing on‑call support while maintaining project schedules and budgets.
The role requires an engineering degree and at least eight years of senior technical leadership experience, with deep expertise in engineering codes and standards, SCADA systems, project coordination and communication, and strong problem‑solving, mentoring, and organizational skills.
