Coordinate SME validation through the Instructional eLearning Designer to ensure visuals accurately reflect equipment, processes, PPE, signage, and safe work practices.
.• Produce micro-animations (highlights, overlays, callouts) that reinforce what good looks like and direct learner attention.
Produce and edit video content including screen recordings, interviews, demonstrations, and microlearning segments aligned to approved scripts/storyboards.
Record, edit, and master audio (or manage voiceover workflow), including cleanup, leveling, compression, and syncing for eLearning use.
Provide video editing samples (microlearning, interview, field capture, screen recording, or training promo).
Design and produce multimedia assets for eLearning modules: graphics, icons, illustrations, infographics, diagrams, and branded templates.
Provide a portfolio link (or packaged examples) demonstrating multimedia production for digital learning: Include at least 4-5 samples, with 2-3 focused on animation (motion graphics, animated explainers, or animated diagrams).
Develop animated diagrams and step-by-step visual walkthroughs that improve comprehension and retention
Participate in project planning led by the Instructional eLearning Designer; provide effort estimates and recommend the right media approach (speed versus polish) based on the learning need.
The eLearning Multimedia Specialist produces the visual, audio, video, and animation assets that power engaging digital learning experiences. This role transforms complex operational and safety concepts into clear, memorable visual learning through motion graphics, animated explainers, animated diagrams, and micro-animations that reinforce key steps, hazards, decision points, and standards. The eLearning Multimedia Specialist reports to the Instructional eLearning Designer, who provides creative direction tied to learning outcomes and approves storyboards, scripts, and acceptance criteria.
Provide an audio/narration sample (cleaned/mixed) or a brief description of your audio workflow.• For each sample, include a short note describing your role, tools used, and what problems the media solved for the learner.
Apply accessibility practices: captions, transcripts, readable layouts, and appropriate contrast; optimize media for LMS delivery performance.
Create animations to support visual learning, including motion graphics and animated explainers for processes and procedures.
On-time delivery of media assets to support build schedules led by the Instructional eLearning Designer.
If samples are proprietary, provide blurred/redacted versions, still frames with a breakdown, or a short reel with context. TBD
Maintain an organized asset library and production standards (file formats, compression profiles, naming conventions, and storage).
Ensures media aligns to brand standards (visual identity, templates, and tone).
Demonstrated experience creating motion graphics/animations that explain a process, procedure, or concept clearly.
Learner feedback indicating improved clarity and comprehension due to visual and animated learning aids.
Experience working within eLearning delivery constraints (compression, aspect ratios, browser performance) and collaborating with developers for integration.
Experience with captioning workflows and accessibility standards.
Ability to translate technical procedures into clear animated visuals without sacrificing accuracy.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud tools (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, Illustrator) or equivalent.
