Description

• Conduct independent cost reviews and validate estimates from architects, contractors, and consultants.
• Perform periodic assessments of project budgets to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
• Verify cost reasonableness and identify scope gaps in project documentation.
• Support Program Managers in tracking program-wide cost trends and ensuring budget alignment.

Requirements

• Estimator I: Bachelor’s degree preferred; 1‑2 years estimating experience; basic engineering knowledge; strong communication and organizational skills; proficient in Microsoft Office and basic project management software.
• Estimator II: Bachelor’s degree preferred; 2‑5 years estimating experience; proficient with AutoCAD, Primavera or MS Project; capable of independent and team work; knowledge of industry standards, codes, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Senior Estimator: Bachelor’s degree (PE preferred); 6‑8+ years estimating experience; extensive project management and team leadership; client management and negotiation expertise; strategic thinking and business development ability.

• Estimator I salary: $60,000‑$80,000.
• Estimator II salary: $90,000‑$110,000.
• Senior Estimator salary: $115,000‑$200,000.
