Conduct Contractor Safety EHS audits and provide detailed reports on findings and necessary actions.
Work with regional teams to support contractor safety focus activities.
Collaborate with Wind CoE Team members and regional contractor safety resources to drive program improvements and perform audit/assurance reviews.
Lead One Wind Contractor Safety Management program, including Framework standardization and implementation across Wind, with a priority focus on High-Risk Operations tied to the GE Vernova Life Saving Rules (e.g., Hazardous Energy/Live Electrical, Mechanical Lifting, Work at Heights, and Line of Fire), coordinating cross-regional team to drive consistent application and implementation across the business.
Mange proactive and reactive (e.g., performance improvement plans/mitigations) with contractor partners and Wind stakeholders to support adherence to GE Vernova Wind EHS expectations.
Integrate and operationalize GE Vernova Contractor Safety core technical program expectations into the One Wind organization.
Proactively partner and develop positive working relationships with cross-functional personnel.
Serve as a coach and mentor to team in order drive excellence and robustness in GE Vernova EHS Contractor Safety Programs and core deliverables.

Fluent English with strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Additional language skills
Related EHS expertise outside of primary responsibility, for example, Industrial Hygiene, or Environmental expertise.
Significant experience and demonstrated achievements with safety programs, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
Robust understanding of Contractor Safety EHS programs and digitized applications such as Gensuite, ComplyWorks, ISNet World, Avetta, SharePoint, etc.
Field experience in a project / services environment, practical experience in risk management
Ability to travel up to 25-30% of the time
Prior experience in Wind industry and/or construction fields
Demonstrated ability to organize, motivate and drive change and interact cross-functionally
Located in Schenectady, NY or Greenville, SC or remote
Experience working in or across different GE businesses
Certified Health and Safety professional
Bachelor of Science in Occupational Health and Safety or technical equivalent from an accredited college or university, or equivalent qualification
Confidently able to facilitate and deliver training and or presentations to a diverse audience
Ability to influence and motivate diverse teams to achieve a unified goal
Trained to Global Wind Organization (GWO) basic safety standard
Experience with common Contractor Safety Management Tools like ISNet World, SGS, Veriforce, Avetta, etc.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple issues with competing priorities
Able to coach and support key influencers to drive EHS compliance and the reduction of risk through team engagement and help develop an organizational culture that prioritizes EHS.
Medical fitness and ability to work at height per local and global standards
