Description

• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of orders, deliveries, and related documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
• Logistics Management: Coordinate transportation, shipping, and delivery logistics to ensure materials arrive at project sites on schedule.
• Site Preparation: Assist in site preparation activities such as clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
• Assistance to Contractors: Provide support to skilled tradespeople, such as carpenters, masons, and electricians, by assisting with their tasks.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols, wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and follow established safety guidelines.
• Issue Resolution: Identify and communicate any delays, discrepancies, or issues in the supply chain, working to resolve them promptly.
• Site Cleanup: Keep work areas clean and organized, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize the procurement process, reduce lead times, and enhance overall efficiency.
• Contractor Relations: Maintain communication with vendors, suppliers, manufacturers, and contractors to coordinate orders and deliveries.
• Materials Coordination: Coordinate the timely procurement and delivery of construction materials, equipment, and supplies to project sites.
• Tracking: Monitor and track the status of orders, ensuring that materials are sourced, shipped, and delivered according to project timelines.

Requirements

• Office Software: Proficiency in basic computer applications, including email, word processing, and spreadsheet software.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, and Project Management Software.
• Safety Procedures: Knowledge of safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), hazard identification, and adherence to safety guidelines.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the construction team, following directions and contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
• Physical Stamina: Demonstrate physical stamina and endurance to perform labor-intensive tasks in various weather conditions.
• Tool Familiarity: Familiarity with common hand tools and equipment used in construction, such as hammers, saws, drills, and shovels.
• Confidentiality: Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
• Project Coordination: Understanding of how materials and equipment fit into the broader project plan, and the ability to coordinate with project teams.
