About the Role

Perform administrative support for two or more essential support functions necessary for the operation of the branch, including invoicing and coding, filing, and other general office support activities. • Adhere to Nucor Rebar Fabrication’s safety programs and standards. • Assist with answering phones and general office administration functions. • Prepare and record necessary paperwork. • Assist with basic accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.

What You Bring

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Minimum qualifications: legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship and a high school diploma, GED, or local/state equivalent. Preferred qualifications include a two‑year degree from an accredited school or college, prior experience in the construction industry, excellent written and verbal communication and math skills, strong interpersonal and organizational abilities, the capacity to coordinate multiple tasks under deadline pressure, and a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. Candidates must be able to work overtime when required.
