About the Role
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and repairing building fixtures such as lights, locks, windows, doors, screens, flooring, gutters, and drains. The role also includes performing carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs to ensure buildings are safely maintained. Key duties include routine preventive maintenance to keep building systems efficient, performing carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs, cleaning and repairing fixtures, operating and servicing HVAC equipment, and completing other assigned tasks. • Perform routine preventive maintenance on building systems. • Conduct carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs. • Clean and repair fixtures such as lights, locks, windows, doors, screens, floors, gutters, and drains. • Operate and service HVAC equipment and related systems. • Follow documentation, safety, reporting, and regulatory requirements (OSHA, state/local codes). • Deliver high‑quality customer service to residents and staff. • Maintain a valid driver’s license and adhere to company policies.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, 3–5 years of related experience, and knowledge of maintenance, electrical and plumbing codes, OSHA and local safety regulations. Strong professional communication and customer service skills, ability to follow written and verbal instructions, and familiarity with company policies are required. Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license and demonstrate self‑motivation, attention to detail, teamwork, and effective time‑management. • Communicate professionally via phone, written, and interpersonal channels. • Interpret and execute verbal and written work instructions accurately. • Manage time effectively and prioritize critical tasks.
