About the Role

The Assistant Plant Manager for the Air Separation Unit (ASU) in Blytheville, AR will oversee safety, operations, and maintenance of plant systems, ensure production targets are met, and drive continuous performance improvement. This role works closely with key stakeholders to maintain reliable, efficient, and compliant plant operations. The position requires overseeing daily ASU operations, supervising and mentoring plant operators, supporting plant projects such as upgrades and equipment installations, interpreting engineering drawings related to the air‑separation process, and leading the Quality Control Unit to train personnel on QMS and process procedures. • Assist in overseeing daily ASU operations to meet production and safety goals • Supervise, train, and mentor plant operators and staff • Support plant projects including upgrades, equipment installations, and process optimization • Interpret engineering drawings (HMB, P&ID, PFD) for the air‑separation process • Lead the Quality Control Unit and train personnel on QMS and process procedures

What You Bring

Candidates need a high school diploma or GED (technical degree preferred), 5–7 years of experience in operations, technical, or management roles within a continuous process plant—ideally in the industrial‑gas sector—and a solid understanding of safety regulations, instrumentation, electrical, and control systems. Additional advantages include hands‑on experience with mechanical, electrical, and electronic repair tools, and the ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues. • Hold a high school diploma or GED; technical degree preferred • 5–7 years of experience in operations, technical, or management roles within a continuous process plant • Knowledge of safety regulations and operational best practices • Understanding of instrumentation, electrical, and control systems • Experience with tools/equipment for repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic components • Ability to independently troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve process and equipment issues
