About the Role
The employee welds steel structural components according to drawings, operates grinders, flip‑rite, transfers, and magnetic drills, and conducts visual inspections to ensure weld integrity. They also coordinate with upstream and downstream teams to resolve safety, quality, and efficiency issues while maintaining rigorous safety standards. • Weld steel structural parts per drawings or prints. • Operate grinder to prepare and finish welds. • Operate flip‑rite equipment. • Operate transfers. • Operate magnetic drill. • Perform full visual inspection of parts to verify weld quality. • Communicate with upstream and downstream teams to address safety, quality, and efficiency concerns. • Demonstrate and lead safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards. • Read and interpret weld symbols.

What You Bring
Candidates must possess a WQ1 (2G) weld certification; preferred qualifications include the ability to read weld symbols, use an arc gouger, hold crane certification, and have material‑handling experience.
