About the Role
The Senior People Advisor role is a 12‑month fixed‑term position within the People & Culture team in Ultimo. The successful candidate will drive the People & Culture strategy, provide high‑quality HR advice to leaders and staff, and support key programmes such as performance, remuneration, grievance and case management. What You Bring
Transgrid seeks a candidate with a strong mix of HR expertise, people‑first thinking and leadership ability. Ideal applicants will hold relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience, possess deep knowledge of the Fair Work Act and related legislation, and demonstrate excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and organisational skills. Experience designing HR processes, managing cases and projects, and prior work in infrastructure, energy or construction are highly regarded. • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Commerce or related discipline, or equivalent HR experience • Solid knowledge of the Fair Work Act, Modern Awards, National Employment Standards and interpreting Enterprise Agreements • Proven leadership skills with ability to coach, mentor and influence stakeholders at all levels • Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service with great attention to detail • Excellent organisational and time‑management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines • Experience designing and implementing efficient HR processes, including process mapping and gathering business requirements • Confident communicator with strong presentation skills; able to engage and influence key stakeholders, including executive leaders • Capability to operate across a broad range of operational HR and business issues • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship‑building skills • Solid skills in case management, project coordination and record management • Previous experience in infrastructure, energy or construction industries (highly regarded)
