About the Role

The Construction Field Technician will support on‑site project duties from pre‑construction through closeout, install data‑center components and sound‑control devices, and apply strong knowledge of hand and power tools as well as measuring equipment. What You Bring

Safety is paramount at Nucor; employees must demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Candidates must have at least one year of construction experience in a commercial, residential, or comparable setting, be willing to travel nationwide, and be proficient with construction tools and equipment. Preferred qualifications include blueprint reading, a high school diploma or equivalent, bilingual English/Spanish ability, and OSHA 10, forklift, and scissor‑lift certifications. • Use hand/power tools and measuring equipment proficiently • Multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently • Minimum: 1 year construction experience, nationwide travel, tool proficiency • Preferred: read blueprints/schematics, high school/GED, bilingual English/Spanish, OSHA 10, forklift and scissor‑lift certifications
