Operate heavy equipment, enforce safety, and assist customers in recycling yard.
Job Highlights
About the Role
• Follow company and OSHA safety procedures. • Operate mobile heavy equipment such as mobile shear, front‑end loader, excavator, grapple and magnet material handlers. • Communicate over radio for traffic coordination, production, and safety procedures. • Perform daily equipment inspections and report defects or needed repairs to a supervisor. • Clean equipment as needed. • Greet customers entering the yard and direct them to the proper unloading location. • Inspect incoming material for prohibited items (e.g., propane tanks, batteries) and prevent them from being left on company property. • Interact with customers and team members to maintain a safe and productive yard environment.
