About the Role
The Community Manager I provides overall supervision of a portfolio of community associations, interacting with homeowners, vendors, board members, committee members, and Associa staff. Travel to client associations is required to attend board meetings, perform inspections, conduct walk‑throughs, and participate in community events as outlined in the management agreement. Key duties include preparing agendas, management reports, and comprehensive board meeting packages, as well as assembling annual disclosure, meeting notifications, and financial statement packages for homeowners within statutory time frames. The role also involves updating homeowner and association information in C3 and shared files, coordinating facility inspections, and overseeing follow‑up actions. The manager supervises the association’s operations and administration in accordance with the management agreement, serves as the primary liaison to the board of directors, and performs administrative tasks requested by the board. Responsibilities also encompass ensuring effective use of community‑management tools, reviewing monthly financial reports, recommending capital expenditures, processing architectural review board applications, monitoring delinquency and collections, and maintaining legal awareness. Additional obligations include maintaining unit and contract files, managing routine and special‑project vendors, overseeing Associa staff as stipulated, handling the accounts‑payable process per home‑office procedures, and performing other duties as assigned. The position offers a salary range of $65,000 to $75,000, depending on experience. • Supervise a portfolio of community associations, acting as primary liaison to boards, homeowners, vendors, and Associa staff. • Attend board meetings, inspections, walk‑throughs, and community events at client sites. • Prepare and distribute board meeting agendas, management reports, disclosure packages, and annual financial statements. • Update homeowner and association data in C3 and shared files. • Coordinate facility and common‑area inspections and ensure follow‑up actions are completed. • Review monthly financial reports and provide summary recommendations to boards. • Oversee architectural review board applications and conduct on‑site inspections. • Monitor delinquency rates, manage collections, and inform boards of legal actions. • Manage vendor procurement, performance evaluations, and contract administration. • Supervise Associa staff and oversee accounts payable processes per company procedures. • Ensure effective use of management tools such as calendars, action lists, RFP matrices, and budgets. • Maintain confidentiality, handle business correspondence, and resolve conflicts professionally.

What You Bring
Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office, possess knowledge of community and homeowners‑association operations, and understand the interaction between boards and community managers.
