About the Role
The purpose of this role is to oversee and review the preparation, accuracy, and timely processing of weekly payrolls for hourly union teammates across various states in the US West, while also handling additional payroll functions such as certified payroll reporting. Key responsibilities include managing weekly union payrolls, entering certified payroll records in compliance with Davis‑Bacon and prevailing‑wage rules, onboarding new teammates to the payroll platform, and ensuring compliance with garnishments, tax withholdings, SOX, benefit plans, and labor‑law requirements. The incumbent will coordinate with labor unions to apply collective‑bargaining wage packages, process employment verifications, issue manual checks and wire transfers, and respond promptly to management and employee inquiries. This position demands high attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to handle multiple complex tasks under deadline pressure. • Process weekly union payrolls for multiple US West locations. • Enter and submit certified payroll records complying with Davis‑Bacon and prevailing‑wage regulations. • Onboard new employees onto the enterprise payroll platform. • Ensure adherence to garnishments, tax withholdings, SOX, benefit plans, and labor‑law requirements. • Coordinate with labor unions to apply collective‑bargaining wage packages. • Provide employment verification for mortgages, workers’ compensation, unemployment, and other requests. • Issue manual checks and execute wire transfers as needed. • Respond promptly to management and employee payroll inquiries. • Maintain high attention to detail, confidentiality, and meet tight deadlines.

What You Bring
Minimum requirements are legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship, at least three years of experience with automated payroll systems, and an associate’s degree in accounting or a related field. Physical demands involve typical office activities, occasional walking, standing, and lifting of equipment up to 25 pounds, as well as the ability to work overtime when needed. The role also requires handling sensitive and confidential information with sound judgment and tact. • Minimum 3 years experience with automated payroll systems. • Associate’s degree in accounting or related field. • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
