Sales Administrator

About the Role

The role is responsible for supporting the Nucor Rebar Fabrication sales team. The position involves typical office activities—including walking, sitting, standing, bending, and lifting equipment up to about 25 pounds—while occasionally requiring work beyond the normal weekday schedule. Confidentiality of personnel records and certain business information must be preserved. • Adhere to Nucor’s safety programs and standards. • Assist in executing sales goals and business strategies. • Manage bid invites, project documents, and project drawings. • Perform minor take‑offs using a PDF editor. • Create bids that align Nucor Rebar Fabrication budget with scope of work. • Assist in resolving claims, disputes, and extra charges with customers. • Maintain favorable customer relations through service‑related calls. • Develop and maintain knowledge of the market, industry standards, and proprietary software systems.
