About the Role
Based in Mumbai, India, this role reports to the Modernization (MOD) department of Otis and is responsible for driving modernization sales. The candidate will coordinate with factories and the head office to place MOD orders and ensure projects are booked on schedule. Key duties include managing material supply according to customer requirements, handling payment collection, and collaborating with construction and finance teams for seamless order management. The role also involves generating enquiries, finalising orders, and supporting sales and marketing through forecasting and target setting. The candidate will engage with customers and consultants to assess needs, build and maintain a customer database, and develop relationships that support post‑order service. Responsibilities also cover market surveys, competitor analysis, and establishing product strategies for the assigned territory. Sales processes encompass preparing elevator proposals, submitting tenders, attending pre‑bid and negotiation meetings, and conducting joint site visits with construction heads to assess site conditions. Weekly MIS updates, follow‑up on proposals, order processing, and coordination of SIP meetings are part of the daily routine. • Drive modernization sales and achieve revenue targets for the assigned territory. • Coordinate MOD order placement with factories and head office to ensure timely project booking. • Manage material procurement based on customer specifications. • Collect payments and oversee accounts receivable for sales orders. • Collaborate with construction, finance, and other internal teams for seamless order management. • Generate enquiries, finalize contracts, and support sales‑marketing forecasting. • Build and maintain a customer database and nurture long‑term relationships. • Conduct market surveys, competitor analysis, and develop product strategies. • Prepare and submit elevator proposals, tender documents, and attend pre‑bid and negotiation meetings. • Perform joint site visits with construction heads to assess site conditions. • Update weekly MIS reports and track sales pipeline using Otis sales tools. • Lead negotiations, close deals, and ensure timely payment collection.

What You Bring
Required qualifications include a Diploma or B.E. in Electrical, Mechanical or Instrumentation, 3–7 years of relevant experience, strong data‑management and analysis skills, proven selling experience, industry‑dynamic understanding, and excellent communication.
