About the Role

The Customer Pick‑Up team at the C.H.I. Overhead Doors division in Arthur, Illinois prepares doors, door assemblies, and related components for dealer pickup while ensuring a safe work environment and direct customer interaction. The position is physically demanding and requires operating lift equipment to move products efficiently. • Read production paperwork and perform assigned tasks. • Load doors, hardware, and products onto dealers’ vehicles or trailers. • Operate forklifts and combi lifts to store, retrieve, and move products safely. • Assist customers on‑site and provide direct interaction. • Assemble materials to produce garage doors and assemblies. • Apply correct labels, tags, and shipping documents to products. • Pack finished goods into appropriate packages and boxes. • Report mechanical or material issues to the supervisor. • Place finished goods in designated areas or trailers for shipment. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment. • Uphold production standards without compromising quality.

What You Bring

• Minimum: 1 year experience in general labor, manufacturing, or construction and 1 year in customer service. • Preferred: 2 years manufacturing experience operating machines and 2 years customer service in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
