About the Role

During a six‑month training program, the trainee will rotate through departments such as New Construction, Service & Repair, and Modernization. A significant portion of the time will be spent shadowing mechanics and field managers to build product knowledge, safety awareness, and field‑management expertise, with the goal of moving into a field management position in an Operating Territory after completion. • Complete a six‑month rotational training across New Construction, Service & Repair, and Modernization. • Shadow mechanics and field managers to develop product, safety, and field‑management expertise. • Transition into a field management role in an Operating Territory after the training period. • Manage conflict effectively and work collaboratively.

What You Bring

The company is seeking a recent graduate who is highly motivated to develop leadership skills as a Field Operations Trainee. The role offers exposure to multiple divisions within Otis, preparing the candidate for future field management responsibilities. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical program. Preferred qualifications include prior team‑lead or supervisory experience, strong interpersonal and communication abilities, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, proven conflict‑management skills, a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle, and willingness to relocate to another branch within the region. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field. • Demonstrate prior team‑lead or supervisory experience (asset). • Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). • Possess a valid driver’s license, own a car, and be willing to relocate within Canada. • Be prepared to relocate to another Otis Canada Operating Territory if required.
