About the Role

The Financial Analyst focuses on supporting the division’s finance functions, emphasizing financial analysis, reporting, and month‑end accounting while collaborating cross‑functionally to deliver data‑driven financial insights. Safety is the most important aspect of every Nucor job, and candidates must be able to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. • Analyze and present financial data to division leadership. • Support accurate month‑end close and general ledger reconciliation. • Identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement. • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes. • Provide cost analysis and divisional comparisons. • Collaborate with other departments to gather and analyze financial data. • Demonstrate commitment to safety policies, practices, and procedures.

What You Bring

Minimum qualifications include a four‑year degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field. Preferred qualifications are a CPA and/or CMA certification, an MBA, at least two years of financial analyst experience, experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics D365 and Power BI, and a desire to advance into a leadership role.
