About the Role

The engineer will investigate field failures, assess manufacturing and specification processes for gaps, and document findings for cross‑functional problem‑solving initiatives. They will analyze cost‑of‑poor‑quality (COPQ) metrics and other data sets, creating visualizations and recommendations to improve product performance and customer satisfaction. • Investigate field failures and determine root causes to prevent recurrence. • Assess manufacturing and specification processes for potential quality gaps. • Document investigation results and present technical summaries to management. • Support cross‑functional problem‑solving projects and provide technical expertise. • Analyze COPQ metrics, AMT data, and other data sets to drive improvements. • Create data visualizations and communicate recommendations to leadership.

What You Bring

Successful candidates possess a bachelor’s degree in quality, engineering, or a related discipline, strong proficiency with Excel and Minitab, and experience applying root‑cause analysis and Lean or Six Sigma methodologies. Ability to interpret data, work under pressure, and collaborate effectively with field mechanics and internal teams is essential; familiarity with elevator systems is advantageous. • Bachelor’s degree in quality, engineering, or related field (preferred). • Proficiency with Excel and Minitab; strong data‑analysis skills. • Experience with root‑cause analysis (RRCA) and Lean or Six Sigma methods. • Knowledge of elevator systems is a plus. • Strong communication, teamwork, and ability to work under pressure.
