About the Role
• Assist recruitment by collaborating with managers, creating job postings, reviewing applicants, and conducting phone screens and interviews. • Support onboarding by sending offer letters, benefits information, ordering background checks and drug screens, maintaining HRIS edit spreadsheets, and conducting orientations. • Review and correct timecard errors; help employees track time off in ADP. • Submit employment changes (pay increases, position or supervisor updates) for processing in HRIS. • Answer employee questions related to benefits administration. • Maintain employee files, onboarding/offboarding checklists, and organize the file room. • Communicate with corporate office regarding third‑party vendors and employee issues. • Serve as technical point‑of‑contact for attendance reporting, ensure HRIS data integrity, test system changes, and write reports. • Work with HR Director to ensure proper controls, document flow, and data integrity. • Train new employees on HRIS functions such as timekeeping, personal information updates, and benefits changes. • Update company website with employee bios and photos. • Enforce company policies, support employee compliance, and track mandatory training (safety, anti‑harassment, certifications). • Assist with leave administration and ADA interactive process, ensuring proper documentation and federal compliance. • Support employee recognition programs, events, and order gifts as needed. • Manage workers’ compensation claims, documentation, and follow‑up. • Respond to employment‑related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors; refer complex issues appropriately. • Aid in disciplinary meetings, terminations, investigations, and conduct exit interviews. • Contribute to employee engagement initiatives, social events, communications, and culture. • Recommend process improvements for departmental and company success. • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; review policies and recommend best practices. • Stay current on HR trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field (or equivalent combination of education/experience totaling 6 years) and at least two years HR experience. • Strong knowledge of recruitment, onboarding, HRIS/file compliance, employment laws, and benefits administration. • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, manage shifting priorities, and prevent tasks from falling through the cracks. • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict‑resolution skills. • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and effective time‑management to meet deadlines. • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities; capable of multitasking and prioritizing tasks. • Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. • Proficient with Google Workspace, Excel, Word, and related software. • Ability to quickly learn and use the organization’s HRIS and talent management system.
