About the Role
The Restoration Project Superintendent reports to the VP of Construction and oversees daily operations of assigned restoration projects, focusing on hail damage and roofing work. Responsibilities include supervising subcontractors, maintaining client communication on‑site, ensuring paperwork accuracy, and conducting quality control. The superintendent works directly with occupants and property owners, providing daily updates to achieve high customer satisfaction. This field‑based position serves as the eyes and ears for projects, emphasizing safety, compliance, risk mitigation, and warranty management. Key performance expectations include daily quality control inspections of subcontractor work, timely completion and uploading of required documentation, and strict adherence to OSHA and site safety standards. The superintendent must keep projects on schedule, communicate professionally with clients, and report any concerns to the Project Manager. The role requires weekly travel as needed, clean daily demolition, supervision of field subcontractors, adherence to company best practices, and provision of exceptional customer service. Additional tasks include coordinating site activities safely, documenting travel arrangements, preparing production processes, and conducting crew meetings with safety briefings. • Oversee subcontractors and ensure daily quality‑control inspections, especially on roof replacements. • Maintain accurate project documentation and upload checklists to company software each day. • Monitor jobsite safety, enforce OSHA standards, and document corrective actions. • Communicate professionally and promptly with clients, occupants, property owners, and government offices. • Track construction schedules daily and report any concerns to the Project Manager. • Travel weekly as required, arrange and document travel per company policy. • Supervise field subcontractors, conduct crew meetings, and provide safety briefings. • Ensure demolition work is clean and completed each day. • Deliver exceptional customer service and adhere to company best practices. • Utilize MS Office, Outlook, and read Xactimate scopes for project estimation. • Motivate and supervise both employees and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
