About the Role
The internship aims to teach all facets of the scrap metal recycling industry from the ground up, preparing participants to join the company after graduation. Interns will master material identification, safety, daily operations, supply chain, logistics, and transportation while shadowing commercial teammates to develop customer relationships and business opportunities. The program is hands‑on; interns will lead staff meetings, engage in strategic planning, and complete a summer‑long project culminating in a final presentation. Participants will work outdoors in an industrial environment and may travel frequently as part of their duties.

Benefits
Nucor Corporation is hiring for its Rotating Operations and Sales Intern Program in multiple locations, including Tampa, FL; Cincinnati, OH; St. Louis, MO; and Kansas City, MO. The position offers $23.00 per hour plus relocation assistance where applicable.
