About the Role
As the Portfolio Risk Manager you will lead the development and application of a consistent, portfolio‑level risk management framework to support informed decision‑making and successful project delivery. Reporting to the Senior Project Controls Lead, you will provide oversight of risk identification, assessment, mitigation and reporting across the portfolio, working closely with project teams and senior stakeholders to surface insights, manage emerging risks and strengthen governance. The role is based in Sydney with hybrid working arrangements. • Develop and apply a portfolio‑level risk management framework to guide decision‑making and project delivery. • Oversee risk identification, assessment, mitigation and reporting across the project portfolio. • Collaborate with project teams and senior stakeholders to surface insights, manage emerging risks and strengthen governance. • Lead risk workshops and create practical mitigation and contingency strategies. • Produce clear, concise risk reports for senior leaders and governance forums. • Apply quantitative and qualitative risk analysis techniques in large‑scale infrastructure or regulated environments. • Engage senior stakeholders, facilitate risk discussions and translate technical analysis into actionable insights. • Provide corporate discounts across retail, utilities, travel, health and wellbeing.

What You Bring
You are an experienced risk professional who takes a structured and proactive approach to managing risk in complex delivery environments. You are comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders, facilitating risk discussions and translating technical analysis into clear, actionable insights. Your background includes demonstrated experience in portfolio or program risk management within large‑scale infrastructure or regulated environments, strong knowledge of risk management frameworks, quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques, and the ability to produce concise risk reporting for senior leaders. • Demonstrate strong stakeholder engagement and a collaborative working style.
