About the Role

The General Manager is an onsite role overseeing all office, administrative, and maintenance projects, including capital improvements. Acting as the liaison among homeowners, the Board of Directors, committee members, association management staff, and maintenance vendors and contractors, the GM implements board policy, inspects the community, issues violation notices, and manages communications and budgets. • Implement board policies and support strategic initiatives. • Inspect community and enforce codes, compliance, and regulations. • Issue violation notices and ensure corrective actions. • Engage with homeowners, board members, vendors, and contractors. • Respond to inquiries in person, by phone, and email. • Maintain and update database records. • Develop and manage budgets; analyze financial statements. • Conduct RFP processes, select vendors, and oversee capital projects. • Prioritize and coordinate maintenance requests and work orders. • Prepare board packages and schedule monthly/annual meetings. • Distribute weekly communications about maintenance, guidelines, and events. • Assist homeowners with architectural review forms and follow‑up decisions. • Handle additional assigned projects. • Obtain and maintain CMCA, AMS, or PCAM certification (company‑paid).

What You Bring

• Minimum 2 years’ community association management experience. • Understand board‑GM interaction and homeowner requests. • Strong written and verbal communication with conflict‑resolution skills. • Customer‑service oriented and collaborative team player. • Proactive ownership, initiative, and ideas to improve processes and cut costs. • Effective project management; prioritize multiple projects and communicate with stakeholders.
