About the Role
The Assembler position, posted on January 29, 2026, is located at Otis’s Florence, SC facility (1500 Otis Way). The role works the first shift from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday with occasional weekends, and involves assembling pre‑ and sub‑assembly components and performing ground bond testing. • Assemble mechanical components using work instructions (MTS/OFS) and hand tools. • Perform crating, packing, and ground bond testing with PIV equipment. • Execute basic rework to correct identified defects. • Use shop‑floor systems to drive Tier 1, 5S, and continuous‑improvement initiatives. • Participate in Level I OJT, cross‑training for Level II assembly, and daily toolbox meetings. • Apply basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills to ensure product compliance. • Communicate effectively to prevent defects and support cross‑training. • Train teammates on product configurations and cell layouts.

What You Bring
