About the Role
Security officers protect the property and its occupants by preventing theft, vandalism, fire hazards and other safety violations. They monitor entrances, manage visitor logs, oversee deliveries, and assist guests with information and directions. The role also involves responding to emergencies, communicating with first responders, and handling physical threats when necessary, while maintaining vigilance at all times. • Respond to alarms and emergency situations. • Conduct periodic tours to inspect for irregularities and check protection devices and fire control equipment. • Greet guests and tenants, providing site information and directions. • Guard and monitor premises to prevent theft, property damage, violence, and safety violations. • Perform fire prevention, safety, maintenance tasks, and enforce parking/traffic regulations.
