About the Role

Finish welding (GMAW) of assembled steel joists to the requirements of our shop order. Perform fit‑up and production GMAW welding on angle‑iron joist chords, including splicing when required. Interpret weld symbols and follow welding procedures. Set the welding machine to assure quality welds that meet CWB and internal standards. Utilize cutting torch or plasma torch as required, and operate an overhead crane within its capacity. What You Bring

Capable of achieving CWB certification in GMAW is required. Journeyman/Red Seal welder certification is considered an asset but not mandatory. Ability to work safely in a high‑paced environment is essential.
