Assist production, maintenance, and shipping tasks while maintaining safety and organization.

About the Role
The General Labourer supports Production, Maintenance, and Shipping teammates in daily tasks while helping maintain a safe, organized facility. • Follow all company safety rules and safe operating procedures. • Perform daily equipment inspections. • Keep the facility neat, organized, and clean, including emptying garbage and recycling bins. • Operate forklifts according to safe practice procedures. • Use overhead crane and no‑touch tools for assigned tasks. • Assist with joist and deck production and other tasks as directed by the supervisor. • Maintain work area and equipment in orderly condition.

What You Bring
Candidates should have a high school diploma, general equipment operation knowledge, and a strong mechanical aptitude; prior steel industry or machine operating experience is an asset. • Possess general equipment operation knowledge and mechanical aptitude. • Hold a high school diploma; steel industry experience is a plus.
