About the Role
The Field Engineer Technical Consultant will enhance field productivity and efficiency using advanced technologies, improve elevator performance by reducing callbacks and repairs, and lower maintenance costs through faster problem resolution and less material usage. Daily duties include providing troubleshooting, adjustment, and repair guidance to field offices for Otis and non-Otis products, as well as managing upgrades, repairs, retrofits, and developing technical information. • Provide troubleshooting, adjustment, and repair support for Otis and non-Otis products, including remote assistance. • Manage product and component upgrades, repairs, retrofits, and develop technical documentation.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a BS degree in mechanical or electrical engineering—or an equivalent combination of education and experience—and possess at least five years of experience in the Otis or broader elevator industry. Field experience is mandatory, and applicants must be capable of diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing various elevator products, including remote diagnostics. Authorization to work in the U.S. without future sponsorship is required. • Hold a BS in mechanical or electrical engineering (or equivalent) with 5+ years elevator industry experience. • Demonstrated field experience and ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair elevator systems remotely. • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
