About the Role
In this role you will shape and execute sourcing and procurement strategies for service and repair parts at the Otis Service Center. You will partner with regional and global supply chain teams to drive sourcing initiatives and uncover cost‑saving opportunities that support annual material productivity goals. A strong customer‑centric and service‑oriented mindset is essential to meet business objectives. Typical daily activities include developing business cases and ROI for cost‑saving initiatives, planning and executing RFPs/RFQs for engineering changes, new product introductions, dual‑sourcing and risk mitigation, and driving new supplier and part qualification through to Supplier Quality Engineering approval. You will monitor and manage assigned suppliers to improve quality, delivery and cost performance, maintain dashboards, and collaborate with other departments and suppliers to resolve on‑time delivery issues. Additionally, you will act as the first escalation point for supplier delivery problems, lead process‑improvement projects, and support weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting. • Develop business cases and ROI for cost‑saving initiatives. • Plan and execute RFPs/RFQs for engineering changes, new product introductions, dual‑sourcing and risk mitigation. • Lead new supplier and part qualification through Supplier Quality Engineering approval. • Monitor and manage suppliers to improve quality, delivery and cost performance; maintain dashboards. • Collaborate cross‑functionally to resolve supply and on‑time delivery issues promptly. • Serve as the primary escalation point for supplier delivery problems within the OSC supply organization. • Lead and participate in process‑improvement activities with internal teams and suppliers. • Support weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting requirements.

Strong analytical, communication and problem‑solving skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to create executive presentations are essential. Knowledge of MS Access, Power BI and MS Project, strategic planning capability, and demonstrated cross‑functional collaboration are valued.
