About the Role
Security officers maintain overall property security by preventing theft, vandalism, and damage. They patrol the site, monitor entry points, manage visitor logs, assist guests, and protect against fire hazards and other safety violations, remaining alert at all times. • Respond to alarms and emergency situations. • Conduct regular patrols and inspect protection devices and fire control equipment. • Greet visitors and tenants, providing site and surrounding area information. • Guard and monitor premises to prevent theft, property damage, violence, and safety violations. • Perform fire prevention, safety, maintenance tasks, and enforce parking and traffic regulations. • Deliver professional customer service. • Prioritize tasks effectively under time‑critical conditions. • Maintain a valid Guard Card (PPO#17681).

What You Bring
The role requires frequent standing, walking, and both indoor and outdoor activities, with overtime possible for weekends, on‑call shifts, and 24‑hour emergencies. Physical demands include reaching overhead, data entry, and the ability to respond to emergency situations. • Apply knowledge of state and local safety requirements. • Use proficient conflict‑resolution techniques. • Exhibit self‑motivation, proactivity, attention to detail, and teamwork. • Interpret and follow verbal and written instructions accurately. • Hold a high school diploma or GED. • Possess 0–3 years of related experience.
